The Fish Have Arrived!

It’s always an exciting day when the first fish of the season arrive! We received a shipment of 500 rainbow trout this week and our guests enjoyed watching. We always tell the little ones that they have to count the fish as they go in the pond, but so far no one has been successful! It’s exciting to see the new fish swarming and establishing their territories. The challenge is to keep the local osprey, mink and blue heron from removing the new fish from the pond before we get to!
